Import services

When the goods from a non-EU country (third country) are to be imported into the EU, they must be declared to Customs upon the entry into EU.

ECS is here to arrange for issuance of your import declaration in electronic form, mostly in simplified customs procedures.

In order to comply with the customs legislation, businesses have to follow certain rules for imports:

To release the incoming goods for relevant customs procedure upon entry to the EU
To make available all documentation Customs might request in relation to such a procedure, including necessary licences and permits, if needed
To provide necessary information for the clearance such as tariff classification and proper value of the goods
To provide the guarantee to Customs and pay the customs debt, if any

The import services we offer include the following areas:

The issuance of import customs declaration, ensuring it contains the correct and thorough data in line with the customs legislation
The verification whether the goods are subject to specific measures and what other steps must be taken towards authorities, if it is the case
Assistance in case of physical inspection of the goods by the customs office
Providing the appropriate customs guarantee and payment of the customs debt
Archiving of all submitted and issued documents
