When the goods are to be exported from the EU to a non-EU country (third country), the export customs formalities must be fulfilled.

ECS is here to arrange for issuance of Accompanying Export Documents in electronic form, mostly in simplified customs procedures.

In order to comply with the customs legislation, businesses have to follow certain rules for exports:

 To release the goods for export procedure

To ensure that relevant documents (e.g. licences) are presented for restricted goods, if such goods are to be exported

To make sure the export operation is properly ended by the exit of the goods from the EU
